I’ve had numerous opportunities to sit in on interviews with ‘famous’ musicians. I’ve also shared the stage with a few. They have major record deals, t.v. placements, radio play, sell-out shows, adoring fans. Maybe it sounds silly, but it was easy for me as a kid to forget that you can’t leave basic human emotions behind. How easily I forgot that we’re all so much alike, whether or not we’ve seen the kind of success we’d like to as artists.

This past Thursday (1/5/12), I had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Jeremy Elliott (guitarist for Bellingham, WA band Polecat), Beth Whitney (Snohomish, WA) and Jenna Ellefson (Portland, OR) at the beautiful and historic Columbia City Theater. It was a night I’ll not soon forget.
