Jason Mraz and Raining Jane made a stop in Spokane last week and what a beautiful show it was! The show was put together in partnership with The Melodic Caring Project, which streams live music to kids who are in the hospital and unable to see it. It’s an incredible project that you can find out more about here! Jason was kind enough to dedicate some of his song performances to the kids.

Pentatonix takes a cappella to a new level on latest EP

In this world, we have people who follow paths and people who pave them.

Acappella group Pentatonix has taken non-instrumental vocal artistry to an entirely new level and is paving a way for acapella groups into the mainstream. After winning The Sing Off, the five members of the group: Mitch Grassi, Scott Hoying, Avi Kaplan, Kirstie Maldonado and Kevin Olusola decided that they wanted to not only continue covering songs that people love – but to also start writing new songs for people to love.

After nine years and four great albums, The Lonely Forest has decided to go on an indefinite hiatus. They played their emotional final show as a band on Bumbershoot’s Fountain Lawn stage yesterday. It was incredible to see how many people came out to celebrate the music of the band – John, Tony, Braydn and Eric – and say a fond and final farewell.

Review: Christina Perri plays to a sold out Neptune Theater + photos!

The line for entry into Seattle’s Neptune Theater spanned all the way around the corner and down the side of the building on Saturday night, as Christina Perri fans arrived early for her sold out show.

Seattle was the second-to-last stop on Christina’s tour, aptly named the Head or Heart Tour, in support of her latest record by the same name. Saturday’s performance was the first of two over the weekend.

Photos: Thompson Square visits Auburn Performing Arts Center!

Thompson Square stopped by the Auburn Performing Arts Center on May 17th to perform for the 31s Annual Auburn Rotary Scholarship show. The duo, comprised of husband and wife Keifer and Shawna Thompson, played to a packed house. It was easily one of the best shows that I’ve seen all year. The pair have an amazing chemistry on stage. Their passion and energy shined through every song while their beautiful voices left me smiling throughout the whole show.

Andrew Belle on his new album ‘Black Bear’

Andrew Belle starting making a name for himself the second that he released his debut EP, All Those Pretty Lights. Though he lives in Chicago, he spent the early part of his career honing his craft in the Nashville music scene. He released his first full-length album, The Ladder, in 2010.
