Just one spin of Harper Blynn’s debut record, Busy Hands, and I was hooked. These guys are the ultimate rock band and most importantly: they are funny, down-to-earth guys who genuinely enjoy each others’ presence and who clearly love making music.

New favorite band alert: Hey Rosetta! Q&A session + PHOTOS from the show

A few weeks ago I ran into this incredible video of a band singing on Watch Listen Tell and I had to find out more. Turns out the song was called “Young Glass” by a Newfoundland band called Hey Rosetta!. Their ability to compose beautifully layered and vocally enchanting songs makes me sure that you will love them! Let me just start off by saying that I have been waiting to interview this band for years! From the moment I heard their debut album, The Dust of Retreat, I fell in love with this group of musicians. They’re wonderfully unpredictable and unlike any other band I’ve ever heard. Lead singer and songwriter Richard Edwards isn’t afraid to get down, get dark and be different.
