Everest: free download of “Raking Me Over The Coals” + tour dates with Neil Young

Los Angeles band Everest is set to kick off their tour with Neil Young in November at Seattle’s Key Arena. Young hand-picked the band to open for him in 2008 after the band released their debut record under his label, Vapor Records.

The band is preparing to release their third studio album, Ownerless, which is set to drop on June 26th on ATO Records.

New favorite band alert: Hey Rosetta! Q&A session + photos from the show

A few weeks ago I ran into this incredible video of a band singing on Watch Listen Tell and I had to find out more. Turns out the song was called “Young Glass” by a Newfoundland band called Hey Rosetta!. Their ability to compose beautifully layered and vocally enchanting songs makes me sure that you will love them!
